Hubber Score

Updated on August 13, 2013

Hubber score is so hard to ignore

Understanding how they obtain the score

Today I started at one hundred

For reasons unknown to me

97 is now what I see

My reads went higher than they have ever gone

Jumping for joy I sing my Hubber song

Two hubs marked with double red flags

Three others are climbing but my score sags

Could it be the hub I wrote today

On the SlutWalk in Toronto yesterday

I thought from the title it might hurt my score

Just wanted to see if one hub would soar

In the forums there are many questions

Sometimes people are given suggestions

Components that make up your score

Depends on traffic and much more

Contributing to the community

Is all part of calculating the unity

Voting they say is a big part that covers

All the numbers that they use to discover

How high your hub score will be today

Always fluctuating it will swing and sway

Scores are penalized if you copy

Make your hubs neat not sloppy

Always remember original content is best

Hope this helps on what I’ve expressed

Awesome, creative, logical, and fun, fun, fun, to read! Thanks Just Ask Susan for bringing a touch of clarity causing a smile for sure.

If I may take a moment to share, I use to concern of that score. Now, I play with it thinking only of mystical and magical thoughts. Now I am '88, but was '90' Went from a dream with a numerology '9' to 8 + 8 = 16 and then 1+6 = 7 or just about perfect. Both being masculine numbers I wonder of the hint, but 7 says time to rest. Odd, tomorrow is my day off - smile.

My hope is someone will run with it and create a hub, as Time is my Nemesis and Off I go to read SlutWalk , , ,

      SWEET!

I've about decided to forget about that number that we all know is impossible to ignore!

I wanna bust down the amazon.com store door, and scream at my readers: BUY SOME MORE!

I'm trying to focus on different numbers, ones that pad pockets, and help me achieve deep slumbers.

97 is my high, as far as I know, and really I wish they would do away with it, it is maddening and everyone wants to tell us how you score big when we all who have been here awhile know nothing can be explained here. It seems lately people are seeing hard work drops your score, now how does that encourage us?

Great write to lighten it up.

I don't know how it is that I missed commenting on this hub. I remember reading it and enjoying the cute poem. I was happy to celebrate 100 for a week, only to see it drop to 93 not to long after. I came to a point where it didn't matter. With a little hard work and some time, I knew I could do it again. Thanks for sharing this entertaining poem!

After years of watching my hubber score go down when I think it should be up and up when by all logic it should be down, I've decided the server at HP has developed into a bipolar artificial intelligence. Predictably so too. My score will be in the toilet by Sunday afternoon but back to 99 or 100 about, oh, ten minutes after the next HP weekly newsletter goes out. ;D

How did I miss this one, so true and funny about the Hub score, how it moves up and down at a whim. I have seen my account with 7 blues pointing down and I'm still batting at 100 then I see them with 7 reds the next day and I'm down to 97 so ya gotta roll with the arrows, the good, bad and the Ugly..and my favorite color has always been Blue but these arrows should all be RED....lol

Article Written By Margaret Minnicks 6 years ago from Richmond, VA

You know what? My score did the same thing last week when my article was on the front page. Not only did my hub score go down at first, and even though I had 4,000 hits for that one article, it made very little. I hope yours will do much better this week. However, my hub score did go back up and fluctuated for the rest of the week. There is no rhyme or reason to these scores. (no pun intended) I've stopped scratching my head and am trying to move on.

I see you copyrighted your poem or is it a rap?
