Great Humility In Nelson Mandela (P)

Updated on June 16, 2016

A Man Of Justice For All

Source

Nelson Mandela The Man

A man that deserved the right to live

As did and does any human being

It seemed he was made with peace to give

And accepted as it the greatest thing

He was willing to suffer for himself and others

And finally was gratified

He exposed to us a miracle man

And for that we’re satisfied

He leaves us a legend-loving hero

Created by the living God

He shall be remembered for the abolishment

Of apartheid that made life so difficult and odd

So where do we go from here?

Do we need another man or even a woman to lead?

Or do we all get it to be fair through love

And help each other with love to succeed?

Yeah. It's funny. When I think about the people who have gone on home, my mirmoees are usually around those little things in life we shared. Driving by the other day and seeing you mowing the lawn is a memory that will always make me smile. It's all just right in front of us sometimes.

The world lost someone great with Mandela. Wish more people could follow his example. I have a few friends online from South Africa, and they shared how Mandela truly helped to heal their country.

This is a lovely tribute to an amazing person, word55. There are some great men and women in the world today, but Nelson Mandela's story is especially inspirational. I love the final line of your poem - we certainly should "help each other with love to succeed"!

A great poetic tribute Word to an equally noteworthy man of astonishing integrity, whose light shone brightly in a dark period of history, now returning to his true home.

Not a bad innings at ninety-five years' old, and a very fit man from what I heard. When he was in prison, I heard that he woke his cellmate up at five a.m. every morning with the sound of him running on the spot lol!

A great inspiration to all colours and creeds, as a magnetic personality of loving-kindness who led by luminescent example, rising to greatness.

      Thanks for the read.

      All the Best,

      R.Q.

You are welcome my dear. The leadership that Mandela performed showed that he was a follower and disciple of Jesus Christ. He studied the Bible very well. We all need to do so as well for ourselves.

It's is with great pleasure to read such a meaningful but beautiful poem to inspire and educate us all of who Mandela was. Each word was very direct and I love it. Where do we go from here? That's a question that with his guidance shouldn't be a problem figuring out because of his great leadership to follow. Thanks dad for the time and efforts to touch people by this poem. I'm truly touched and inspired!

Your poem is deserving tribute to Mandela, man of great courage, man who impacted the world, making it a better place. Your question is valid: Where do we go from here? Each one can make the decision to continue Mandela's struggle in the interest of all mankind. Thank you.

The entire world let this man languish in a prison for 27 years! Now,because of favorable public opinion towards Mandela, many of the bottom feeders in Washington D.C. will say good things about him.I am glad that he has moved up the ladder. He was too good for this evil place.God Bless Mandela!
