Hurricane Path and Border Patrol
American Immigration and Border patrol
Hurricanes coming fast and people fleeing their homes
What is the difference in danger I ask?
Hurricane chasing people from their lands, for immigrants a similar task.
When the world stresses us out and danger arises
We go where we can be safe, where we can see brighter skies
The fear of not living shouldn't be a surprise
What if an entire nation had to flee to another country to preserve their lives
Would a wall be built to keep out the flies
Their Power trips and egos
Their Racism and Heroes
Pigheadedness has wrecked prosperity turning achievements to zeros
When danger faces us all, we will seek refuge in other places
Up goes the wall, well here comes the quake
Earth is fed up, pushing hurricanes, tornadoes and making the environment shake
Look at what the hurricane brought over the borders
No one could have predicted to find immigrants in these wind and waters
Even a few Americans may be, picked up and brought into the Caribbean sea.
You see, when people lives have been disrupted, by man or by nature
Compassion comes forward, the price of a human life has no wager
Hurricane or war, both bring destruction and devastation
African, White, Mexican or Muslim, will seek refuge in another nation
