Hurting Heart

Updated on November 5, 2012

Hurting Heart

You Don't

You don't call me like you used to do,

I think you want to forget me,

There's no more feeling, that's the key,

My heart is breaking right in two.

You don't call me like you used to do,

And tell me all about your day,

You don't talk the way used to,

And tell me I'm special in every way,

My heart has cracked right square in two.

You don't call me like you used to do,

Whenever anything at all went wrong,

You don't look the way you used to,

When in your arms you swear I belong,

My heart isn't happy anymore, it's turned blue.

You don't call me like you used to do,

Just to "make my day".

You don't sound the way you used to,

But, Honey, it is really okay,

My heart has been broken before, it will mend again soon.
