My wife loves me. My sons fancy me. My grandson adores me. My mother in law cares for me. My cousins are fond of me. My Scouting friends respect me. My church family supports me. God loves me.
I can play music. I sing on key. I can play the banjo. I play the guitar. I can play the mandolin. I make people smile. I can appreciate everything that I have been gifted. God loves me.
I walk trails of sand. I trudge highways of snow. I run in mud and rain. I meander through old Chicago neighborhoods. I lose myself in the forest. I find myself in the city. God Loves me.
My health allows me to enjoy. My eyes allow me to see clearly. My heart allows me to feel and beat. My hands hold babies. My feet carry me into adventure. My ears notice robins, cardinals and blue jays. My mouth tastes the sweetness of spring air. God loves me.
I am in recovery. I am healing. I am in remission from depression. I am learning. I am contented right now. I am wondering. I am human. I am saved.
I am powerful. I am weak. I struggle. I succeed. I fear death. I await eternal life. I am alive. I am saved.
My fingers fly on the fret board. My pencils shade and draw. My colors are blue and purple. My hues are bright and joyous. My life in tuned to Joy. My banjo is tuned to G. My song is love. I am saved.
I rerun old tapes. I forget the hurts. I replay old songs. I overlook others’ missteps. I remember the loves. I put the old me behind the new me. I am saved.
I am riding the mountain railway. I am floating through the sea. I am piloting big muddy. I am flying through debris. I am crawling among centipedes. I am climbing, galaxy bound. He loves ME!
My life circulates in mystery. My steps are sure footed. My mind percolates with desire. My soul rests at ease. My yearning assaults my senses. My slumber gives me respite. He loves ME!
I am thankful for these life moments. I am grateful for these life challenges. I am thankful. I am saved. I am grateful. I am saved. I am.
