I Enter Through The Glow And Blaze of Heaven. A Sonnet, to Shanmarie

The flower on yon meadow has entered my Essence,

And in silence, it is teaching me its secrets:

“Offer your vibrancy to humans,” It whispers,

“Then they will share you with gods and men.

Let your sacrifice be like my fragrance,

Wafting its selfless aroma to the unseen winds.”

The Light of the horizon beckons me.

This frame enters in parallel;

Finds itself suspended in Her radiance.

I yearn for Love, and my Soul burns with longing.

How I wish that the cherubic angels,

Would dance sweetly inside my Heart!

The Beloved shapes my pleas, like a Divine Potter,

And I enter through the glow and blaze of Heaven.

I had to vote for "other"....mountains my friend. That is where nature speaks to me. Another beautiful tribute as we have come to expect from you. Blessings to your big heart on this Friday.

Bill, How could I forget mountains? The woman on the mountaintop? (smile). Seriously I climbed up 4,000 metres of both Anapurna and Kilimanjaro. They were quite heavenly. Gratitude, Bro.

Ruby birds are my favourites, too. In Love and Light.

Rochelle, God bless you, too, my Sweet friend. Lots and lots of love and affection. Gratitude ...

Hi Words, I cloak them. I'm actually thinking of the Divine. Thanks Bro. Much Peace.

I love the last lines - "The Beloved shapes my pleas, like a Divine Potter,

And I enter through the glow and blaze of Heaven."

      Sure.

      It's SHIMLA :-)

Shimla is an extremely beautiful city in North india. It is the capital of the bountiful state of Himachal Pradesh (1 of the 29 states in India)

You do not need to look far, my Brother. Elias and co are right there, and this comes from the great Ramakrishna himself. See God in your kids and you're doing excellently well.

Still, you have my empathy as I try to understand. I am single and live alone. Your work is so important to the Divine, as you still manage to think of Him even with this sweet, lovable load. God bless your loving and charming Heart. Om Shanti!

To dance with any form of nature is to enter a realm of peace and great wisdom.

This is truly a beautiful poem, manatita! I do love the spiritual nature of your poems and the way you so graciously dedicate them to others. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention again. I was sure I was here before and left a.comment. Perhaps it didn't take. Please accept my apologies and know I do appreciate this lovely gesture.

I also appreciate your lovely comments on my hubs. It's true, I have mot been able to read as much in quite some time here, but you remain loyal to reading mine. Undeserved, perhaps, but appreciated nonetheless.

Actually, this beautiful hub reflectsthe better side of the feelings expressed in my most recent hub.
