I Feel The Same But Things Are Different

Updated on November 30, 2016

Life Is Constantly Changing

We don't see it

The changes happen so slowly we don't notice

It is easy to see a plant sprout up

Grow a little at a time

Flower and grow even taller

As the bloom fades

Slowly the plant begins to weaken

It dies or looks like it seizes to grow

The seasons change

The weather turns from warm and sunny

To cold and rainy

Winter is here

All is forgotten

Then we have Spring

The plant that was almost unknown

Shows signs of life

New shoots begin to grow

A new flower appears

Just when we thought all was lost

The beautiful wonders of life

Show us

Even when we had doubts

We couldn't see any changes

Many things were happening

So in our own lives

Once again we only see part of the picture

Let us grow and develop

Inward and outward

To the person we are and who we have always loved

Wonderful sentiments. I think as we write and create we are always changing and rearranging not only our thoughts but also what we feel deep down inside.

Jodah I am always battling change. My printer is very temperamental. It works fine and other times it says air printer not found. I talk to my iPad and say listen dummy you just printed out things a second ago. Don't you remember? I have the proof in my hand. Then I go a few hours trying again and again. Nothing. The same result. Then as if my prayers have been answered it works. Until the next time or even a day later I start the whole crazy cycle all over again. So now you know why changes make me loopy. Thank you for reading and sharing. I hope you had a beautiful day and have an even a better day tomorrow.

You are right Dream On, things change within us and around us sometimes without even noticing, but when you look back in a year's time you may be amazed at what actually occurred. Change can be good or it can be bad, but it is inevitable and we have to try and look for the positives in every different situation and go forward with confidence.

Shanmarie In life it easy to feel insignificant and small. There are so many things happening all around the world. Even though today is a new day it feels the same. We eat, sleep, go to work and do our usual routine. Even the best things in life can get boring if we don't have variety or differences to make our life exciting. Some changes do not always feel good but in the end we are better because of it. Primative man had to learn to adapt to survive. We have come along way. It is a good thing to reflect back on the past week and month and look closely how we have changed. In a years time we can easily notice how we have grown and expanded not only our life but lives of many others. Through life many family and friends have always brought me all the joys I could never even imagine. I am always grateful. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Beautiful sentiments expressed here. Sometimes I feel like I am the same but the rest of the world says I should change. Hard to explain. Obviously, some change is good and needed for growth, but other changes just take away from who we are and the potential of what we can be. Discouraging instead of encouraging.
