I Forgot Love

Updated on January 17, 2014

I Forgot Love

I have no recollection,

Of a warm embrace.

There’s no mental picture,

Of my lover’s face.

I have no memory.

Did I hold her delicate hand?

I implore the heavens,

Permit me to understand?

In constant reflection, I wonder,

Did we share a tender kiss?

Did time ever stand still,

In a moment of bliss?

I have no memory of love,

Nothing, now, can I recall.

And without love’s memory,

There’s nothing at all.

Sad but beautifully written as always. Love you, man.

Oh... as good as it is sad. I enjoyed reading this. And you're right, life is nothing at all without love.

Be good, be happy, be fit, become all you can be!

This is so sad Micky. To not remember what love felt like is such a loss. Hit many buttons and voted up my friend.
