I Gaze at the Colour of Words, Sealing My Lips With Thy Love - For Tamara Y. Moore

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Flame of Light

Your Light radiates the candescence of the moon,

Streaming through a canopy of constellations.

Its golden rays lend lustre to my bird of hope;

My being sings a melody to its flares.

Blow, blow, sweet Bugle,

To free me from these uncomely shadows.

Heal all my ails of millennia,

With Thy sweet notes of the Beyond.

Why do I shout on hilltops; in public squares?

You have not died, my Queen, but like the sun,

Move from one window to another,

Emanating the candle of Thy presence.

Tamara Yancosky Moore

I’m so delighted to see You,

Churning the milk of sweetness in my Soul.

I looked through a pageantry of rainbows,

But found instead, that You were dining in my Heart.

So now I dance in a harvest of inner rapport;

Share Thy ecstasy, with those calling out Thy name.

I am the victor of a destiny, dancing on my forehead,

I gaze at the colour of words, sealing my lips with Thy Love.

You must never forget,

That greatness

Does not guarantee happiness,

But goodness always does." Sri Chinmoy.

Manatita's inspirational spontaneous stanza

"I saw the sands of Time tossing me,

Molecules so small and seemingly insignificant.

Until I became a perennial Pearl,

In the Ocean of the Great Unknown." -Manatita

      Thank you, Shauna.

Didn't realise you were that far back. Or maybe you switch occasionally. Thank you so much!!

I don't know Tamara, but love her rose-colored glasses. Mine are invisible to those who look at me, but my rose-colored glasses guide me through every moment of the day. Incidentally, my sister's name is Tamara.

      Beautiful dedication, Manatita!

"Bird of hope." I could feel the fluttering in my chest. You're simply great at the use of beautiful phrases.

      Dear Linda C,

Thank you so much!! Yes, I like it too. I also like the title. My first version was: "I gaze at the colour of words and became mute." Then I changed it to the current. Which is your preference?

      Dear Chitrangada, my Didiji.

So happy to see you. Loving thoughts this blessed Sunday.

      Thank you, Linda. So kind.

You are right, of course. Why don't you put a picture of yourself? Again, I have actually looked at a few of your Hubs and profile. Seems God has given you much talent in the knowledge of food. So perhaps you can write something about the Lord and His relationship to food.

On the Path I follow, we say that food is God. (Annam Brahma) So He has given you an awesome talent to praise Him through. He has given me Creative Writing and I try to serve Him this way.

Now about books. Being vegetarian, I have some great recipes from the Hare Krishna people and from vegans. Yet somehow I struggle. With me, I try to create in the kitchen like I do with poetry, only you will laugh if you visit me, because I'm nowhere near as good. (chuckle)

I just boiled two eggs, though. Five minutes ago. I will also have some beans and I've already had the fried plantains and a cup of tea. (smile)

I've only written about two people in depth. Bill Holland and Nellieanna. I've known them for some time. I've done something quite decent on Audrey and her poetry of Light. In all other cases, I simply identify with the individual and capture - though the poem and pictures - a suitable mood.

Hope that you stay well. As I touched on before, God has given you a lot. What a great blessing! Loving thoughts.

      How beautiful and how peaceful!

Lovely tribute in continuation of the tribute poems you have composed earlier. No one can do it like you!

      Thanks for sharing!

Manatita - You love me as a child of God, but not as a person. Read my hubs, read by biography, read my book and you will learn the "me" and know what to write.

Thank you. You are a kind, giving person and I am happy that our paths have crossed though we live thousands of miles from each other.

      Are Linda.

You are loved by me too. God has given you something to offer which is unique to you and so you're very special. I suspect that you know this. Haven't I written one for you as yet? Give me a theme. I 'll be honoured. Loving thoughts.

How thoroughly wondrous and lovely is this poem! Thank you for your ever-kind thoughtfulness in your remembrance of me. Your timeless words flow gracefully, and eloquently, like a softly-flowing brook; enchanted by the soothing, and tranquil melody of your poem, I am taken to a sweet place of peacefulness, and serenity. I am deeply honored.

      Love and Hugs,

I can write comedy...I can write mystery...I can write thriller...I can write human interest....what I can't write, and never will be able to do so, is what you write. You are so damned talented in poetry, sonnets, et al, and I am in awe.
