I Have Fallen

Updated on February 25, 2016

What would it feel like to fall down a cliff?
I'd imagine that rush of wind through the face
Gravity pulling you closer and closer
With each accelerating pace

Even if you want it to stop
You'd know there's no turning back
Nothing you can do would halt it
The strength you definitely lack

That feeling of helplessness
Wraps around you so tight
You continue falling with that fear
You go down without a fight

That is exactly what I have felt
That is why they say it's falling in love
I have fell for you since the beginning
Like falling from a cliff up above

I have tried to deny it, to stop it
But like gravity you pull me closer
I couldn't help it, I was falling even more
Especially compared to him, you're better

Falling for you was not really gradual
But admitting to myself was
Fear held me back at the start
Scared of everything happening so fast

Each day accelerates towards you
Helplessly I succumb to accepting
I am undeniably falling in love
My face smiling with the wind rushing

I fell hopelessly in love that I could shout it through the mountains.
I fell hopelessly in love that I could shout it through the mountains. | Source
