I Just Want To Snuggle

Updated on February 4, 2014

You Don't Have To Ask Me Twice

I am one of the lucky ones

Who come home night after night

Pampered by the love that I get

My wife reminds me often

How much she loves me

I also show her my love in everything I do

Sometimes it could be getting something before she asks

Helping her when I could be doing anything else

Just being there at the right moment and looking into her eyes

Telling her those words she has heard so many times before

I love you

We are both proud to say these words

No matter how many times they are repeated

They never get old

So after everything is said and done

I can't wait to snuggle right next to you

I often wonder how today will be different than tomorrow

Then I say what I have said so many times before

If it was anything like today

You are going to have to peel the smile off my face

Because I don't see it changing anytime soon

I am amazed at how so many things click

Like a clock where every tick is followed by a tock

Not much else to say

Except life is funny that way

Gypsy Rose Lee I can tell we both are very happy and luck has nothing to do with it. Love is where the magic lies. What a wonderful world this really is. Thanks for commenting and sharing your sweetest thoughts.

Wonderful thoughts and yes, I agree it's great to come home and have a loving smile greet me, the words I love you and a great big hug. Nothing like it.
