I Let You Be My Guide ~ a Poem
I Let You Be My Guide
I let you be my guide
In search for far and wide
Towards the horizon we both soar
Pass no fear of a bold thunder roar.
Disguise ourselves must not on lies
Like God openly paints His skies
Make truth yield, willing and free
Clear as the revealing sea.
As morning breaks, we sip from our cups goodbye
We held wings; fall for kisses for again we fly
The arrogance of the wind is yet gentle
Two hearts together glide, oh sentimental!
We tire from each unselfish flight
In the days harmonious delight
Then, and to another togetherness once more
The promise from a sunrise calling us to shore.
