I Love the Way You Use Your Blood

Updated on February 25, 2012

I love the way you use your blood, the way

you move when moves are all you’ve got.

Go ahead, move now, stir your glorious bones.

The light will accentuate you, the day will

kneel to you.

Every follicle of the moment will bend to your name, settle

on your skin and release endorphins into every brain

watching.

You are a magic trick no man can understand.

You are a soft-spoken enigma that glides

in sugared air.

Each star in the universe gleams

only to try and outdo

your own.

I love the way you use your soul, the way

you smile when smiles are all you’ve got.

Hmm, very well done, though it bares the question of whether such an encounter does use soul in a deeper way than simply personality exchange.

Very beautiful. I really like the imagery that you use as well as your metaphors. Very nicely done.
