I Must Go

Updated on September 19, 2013

I Wonder What Will Happen

I am off to try in a competition

Something I have never done before

Competing against people I have never met

Exciting and thrilling to see what will happen

There will be only one winner

The others will have tried and lost

Soon I will see where I may end up

With a victory I can pin on my chest

Or will I hear those famous words

Better luck next time my friend

picklesandrufus I had fun but lost. At a local Uno's they had a Samuel Adam's beer holding competition where you hold a mug filled up with water in front of you without spilling it. It looks easy but after a few minutes you start to spill the water. You can't bend your arm. I thought it would be fun to challenge myself. I beat just a couple of people and the rest beat me. I got a key chain for playing. The overall winner gets a free trip to Germany. Thanx so much for asking . I tried to tell myself before the competition my arm is lighter than a feather. I realized feathers can be very heavy. Have a good night.

Gypsy Rose Lee I just love being able to write what's in my head. I compete against myself all the time. There are so many talented writers and lovely stories I want to read them all. So I do my best to read as many as I can . That is of course when I don't have the writing itch which is most of the time .Thanx for so many comments and new thoughts to think of. Have a wonderful night.

I think that the cyber world give us plenty of competition. Each day writing and hoping to be praised and your work enjoyed. Better than all the rest or at least equal.
