I must not stay

Updated on January 12, 2013

A poem about stolen moments between two people deeply in love... who can never be together.

I Must Not Stay

I must not write, of our Candelight

I must not speak, of our soft delight

I must not say

I must not try, to hold your eyes

I must not prize, this life's surprise

I must not pray

I must not shake, your castle wall

I must not take, this feathered fall

I must not stay...
