I Sent My Plea

Updated on July 30, 2011

Vastness of distance

So cruelly placed

My life, in abyss is

Trapped in this space

The stars which surround

Create not a sound

Lonesome, awaiting

For my loss to be found

My starved, dying light

The death of a wish

My radiance might

Her naked eyes, miss

May her sight, one day fall

Upon all that I am

May her heart, someday bask

In my warmth, if it can

Is the cold that encases

Simply too great to melt?

Will the dark she embraces

Destroy all she once felt?

I send to her, once more

All my dreams, all my love

Hasten them, with my soul’s

Final breath, from above

I watch, as my last plea

Starts its journey, its flight

I surrender, in silence

To my destiny’s plight

What the hell have I been missing? You are so capable, my young friend... so very capable. I love your more structured poems. You never seem to force a line or a rhyme. There's an easy flow that is so fluid.

Oh the feeling of love is so beautiful, yet fleeting it is, distance as well. But when two hearts collide for having met on the same path then look out, you have the Big Bang and they melt into one.

Staying in love is the trick, many are fooled by jesters and teased with it. Say Nay to fools and let your hearts be strong forever entwined and beating as ONE. Wonderful scribe my friend, nice to read you again dude.
