In The Rays of Thy Resplendence. A Dedication to Joy I-Shine Grey.

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

I was once trapped by desire.

Like Paris of ancient Greece,

In search of you, my Helen,

I flew on my longing; solicited the Heavens,

So that our heartbeats, could become one.

I grew wings, and with lofty words,

Cascaded the fragrances of emeralds in your Spirit.

Now my Beloved has painted a silhouette,

Of such magnificence, that it tantalises my Soul.

How I have longed for Love!

In my aloneness, I have touched It;

Kissed it; felt it pulsating in my Heart.

Now I shimmer in the rays of Thy resplendence;

Stab Your Delight into a million glows!

I am drunk with this sublime vintage, of Your nectar-wine.

Let me hold You in sacred stillness,

No breath between our emanations of fire,

Merging, dazzling; sparkling ... into the Joy of timeless Love.

I swoon in reverie; enter into a state of rhapsody,

Ever conscious of this Eternal moment;

Love has left behind me, all wishful engagements,

Of a seen or unseen tomorrow.

The last one and a half lines, as well as inspirations, are taken from a loving comment from Harish Prasad, but the lofty and etherel style of poetry, is all my own. Gratitude, Harish.

      Frankly I can write 30 in a day, no probs. But you know my fan base is small and you guys are nearly always busy. I generally pause to allow you to catch up. Gratitude ...much. Peace.

      Brilliant work! Love is so layered and intricate. You, my friend, are on a roll. I am moving backward and hope to read the rest by tonight. I will probably share quit a few. May is upon us and then comes Motherly Love. Jamie

      You are so talented at expressing yourself through poetry. This one so perfectly captures the passion and spiritual power of romantic love. The imagery is beautiful, and so is this hub! Voted up!
