I Will Be There In Prayer

Updated on March 28, 2013
Source

I Will Be There

You can push me out of your life

But I won't be totally gone

I will still be there

You can say you don't want to see me

That you won't let me change you

But I will still be there

I'll be there in prayer for you

Because when you hurt, I hurt

Yet your wall is too high for me to climb

Designed to keep people out

But I will still be there

So should you change your mind

And decide to let me in

I will still be there

I'll be there in prayer for you

All because I care

I'm sure there are more with no comments. Some of the ones more for Google than the creative writing I enjoy, and some of the poems I first published.

I'm so glad you are enjoying my work, DREAM ON.

I am old school and half the time I still have to look up words in your poems I don't know in the dictionary.Thanx for sharing.I was wondering how long does it take to write one of your poems ?For me an hour or two.I write while the mood strikes. If I stop I can't go back I'm dead in the water.I have over five hundred unfinished writings for one reason or another.Writing is do or die.I see lots of traffic on your hubs. You have a nice following.Thanx for your comments by the way.I appreciate them so much.It is pouring rain in Maine...your poems are very interesting...with a read or two...I start out smiling and I end up blue.

It really just depends. Some pour out in a matter of minutes and others will take me hours. If I'm feeling the mood when I write it, it usually takes less than half an hour to write. On the other hand, if it is one meant to be more like song lyrics or potentially put to music, it can take me hours or days. And I'm rarely completely satisfied with anything I write, so I try not to look back over them too much. I also have a pile of unfinished things that I've started and not finished, but maybe someday. And some random lines that pop in my head jotted down for use possibly someday.

P.S. Maybe it's time to stop reading if I'm making you blue!
