I Will Feel Your Love (2)

Updated on September 10, 2015

I Will Feel Your Love

Her full lips trembled, as his fingers touched her arm

in a warm caress, as a measure of his charm,

His lips replaced his fingers journey as he placed

sweet slow kisses up her arm.

She desired more as he made his way to her starving

lips, which tasted like honey, to explore and master,

He craved her touch as her soft lips traced a path from

his navel to his lips, lightly, so slowly, then savoring

the quivering waiting gift, then ardent kisses became faster.

A couple kissing by the waterfalls
A couple kissing by the waterfalls

Her body glistened with passion so molten so starved for his touch, as

he made her wait for his kiss,

He punished himself to make her wait, he knew their love was like lava

and would erupt into time and space, and this he would miss.

This would be their last touch, their last kiss, their last love making until the

war sends him home,

She said, " I will feel your love, no matter how the miles keep us apart,

there will be no other who will touch my heart, it will not roam.

My mind records your caresses, your kisses, and your soft breath as it

travels over my body, sending warmth to the abyss of my heart, to be

played back in my dreams when you are gone."

I will not rest again until you are home.

He said, " And my minds records your words which are branded on my heart

---so I will feel your love , until this earth is dust particles floating in space,

then our love will be written in the Book of Love by Angels who guards our hearts."

They said together with lips touching and arms intertwined, "We will never be apart."

I Will Feel Your Love

She felt his "Love" through the metal as she held the Urn,

And she knew in her heart he would never return.

Not in the form he left her in---with their last kiss,

But she would see him again, and glow in their bliss.

Years have come and gone,

She always lived alone.

Until, the day he would walk with her hand in hand,

And lived for that day she did—because he was her

only man.

Early one morn, before the Morning Doves cooed and

walked in the dew,

She took her last earthly breath, and there he was offering

his hand--- without looking back they started their life anew.

This work sizzles and your words very creatively exposed. Your gift in your scribe is magnificent, I had to go take a cold shower after this one. And I thought I could heat up a room with some of my work, are great. Voted up, awesome, beautiful and HOT...oops no HOT button. oh heck I will just pretend then that there is. LoL

This story is full of passion, and romance.

I love how you put together the story and then the poem after that just brings the story to a conclusion.

I am going to try this style of poetry, you are very inspiring to me. Can I write you an e- mail?

I have been blessed with a vivid imagination, and I love to write, and share it with ones who appreciate it.

My first story was called the Christmas Donkey--I wrote it in the fifth grade. It was about Mary and Joseph, and their journey to the birthplace where Jesus was born. I wrote it from the donkey point of view. My Southern mother almost had a stroke, she thought it was sacrilegious. However, she finally liked it, after everyone telling her it was good.

Bobbi, going over some of your hubs and found this gem.

Wow i love your poetry. The previous story is a very erotic and touching tale of two young lovers. then the poetic lament after just strikes deep into my heart.

I am curious now, how you can write such a beautiful hub as this without having had experienced something to give you the emotion to write such beautiful words.?

...perhaps you should indulge your readers and yourself too and post some more creative writing - because this is absolutely fantastic - and of course - smoldering with poetic heat - it certainly affected me and I would've jumped into my lake to cool off after reading this but it's so darn cold now - lol
