I am a warrior

Updated on July 16, 2012

I am a warrior

A kind, loving, understanding warrior

I will stand as firm as need be

To protect the values that I hold

I will fight if need be

I am an aggressive soul

I will not roll over

I do not concede

I can be taught

I can be convinced

I can be loved and love

I can share the worlds with all of you

But I am a warrior

Do not try to take my ground

It was an expression of self when I wrote it.

This one is probably the most reflective of the essence of me.

never thought of that, well after all, you can't copyright a title. Speaking of getting old, I remember when candy bars were a nickle and I used to buy cigarettes for 30 cents a pack; vile habit, so glad I gave it up.

      Thanks for the compliment.

Great poem but I know I have to be getting old when the first thing that pops in my mind when I see the title of this hub is one of my favorites songs from the 80's.
