I am Merouane.I am an English university student.I have been writing in English for ages: I write short stories, poems, articles, essays.

Once upon a time, there lived a very poor man who was called "Joha".He was so smart, but so poor. One day, he was dying of hunger. He sat and starting talking to himself. He had borrowed money from every person he knew in his village. What could he do now?Suddenly, an idea came to his mind: he thought of going to the town to borrow some money from a very generous merchant he so very often heard about.

He wore his Djelab, his slippers, and went to the town. When he arrived, he went directly to the shop of that merchant.Joha stood at the door of the shop and said:"Sir, I am dying of hunger and my children as well.""What can I do for you?"Asked the man."Lend me some money, and I will bring them back to you next monday at this very hour."Said joha.

Being a very generous man, the merchant agreed to lend Joha some Dinars, but said:"If you do not bring me my money back, what should I do then."Asked the merchant."Come to my village."Answered Joha."And what is the name of your village."inquired the merchant."It is called Green Land."Answered Joha."And what is your name."Asked the man."I do not know."Said Joha. The merchant got surprised but said:"Even your village has a strange name."Joha took the money and left.He never knew his name.He was an orphan, and the man who raised him up never named him.He did not want to tell the merchant his nickname--Joha.

He bought a lot of food, and went back home.Days passed, and the agreed-on day came.Joha had no money again. How could he give back the money he borrowed from the merchant when he did not have one Dinar?"The merchant do not know me, so I better imprison myself in my house these days."Said Joha to himself.Monday passed, Tuesday passed...one week passed. The merchant got so angry, and decided to go down to the village.

On his way, the merchant met some people carrying a coffin. He stoped and asked one of them:"Who is the dead person you are carrying in that coffin?"Asked the merchant."I do not know."Said the man."Oh! my god."Cried the merchant so loud.Everyone stoped and looked at the merchant, Then someone approached him and said:"What is wrong?"." If I do not know is dead then my money is gone."Said the merchant.
