I'd come back as a Rose

Updated on August 4, 2017

Maybe I'd be a shabby sheek cabbage patch rose?

I'd come back as a Rose

If I come back as a rose some day, I’d be sheer perfection in every way.

Even if I only lasted for one glorious day.

I’d finally be a treasure in your eyes.

I’d finally be the perfect color, shape and size.

Then perhaps I’d be sold, loved and cherished.

Put with eleven others in a crystal vase until the day we all perished.

I’d be sniffed like perfume.

My exotic fragrance would fill the room.

I’d drink my fill of water every day.

And I’d do life my way.

I’d waken to smiles and laughter.

There would be nothing I would not go after.

I’d have no agenda and no thorns to prick people and cause pain.

Because there would be absolutely nothing to gain.

When I come back as a rose someday.
