IF I HAVE A THOUSAND BOOKS
If I have a thousand books,
I’ll read them every day;
I’ll make them a part of me.
And when I read all of them,
I’ll share it with some other friends.
And give to some of it to people who loves to read.
When I have more money,
I will build a library;
With lots of books display on it.
Thus, every kind of people,
Will go to read at my library with me.
If I had a thousand of books,
I’ll never wait for it to value them all.
Thus, one makes valuable;
For me, it’s more than a thousand books,
It’s one that counts thousands.
When a writer writes a book,
You will see, what he/she wants you to see.
Because a book contains a thousand words,
Words that will change or improve a part of you.
I want to know more about those authors of books.
I want to read what it is written on their piece;
Thus, one book is worth more than a thousand books,
For those who value, like I Am.
This poem was written when I was in 3rd-year college. I love books. From one book that I have, I'll collect hundreds then thousand... :) I just want to express my greatest fonds - "books".
