I SAW A FOX ON THE ROAD

Updated on June 29, 2011

I saw a fox on the road~

He appeared not to know where to go?

He went right~

He went left~

He went to and fro~

As I watched that fox meandering on down the road.

I saw a fox on the road~

His tail and head were bent down low.

I stayed in a distance~

For I did not want to startle him~

That beautiful fox walking down the road.

I saw a fox on the road~

He had bronzy red hair~

To the tip of his black nose.

I saw that pretty fox scampering without a care~

There was a little white on his chest and on the tip of his bushy tail.

I saw a fox on the road~

He appeared not to know where to go?

He went right~

He went left~

He went to and fro~

As I watched that fox meandering on down the road.

His dainty legs did move at a good pace~

His cute little ears and beaded eyes determined~

Although he was not speedy as in a race~

I continued to watch that fox make haste.

Than finally he decided~

As if he remembered where he resided~

As I saw that fox trot further down the road~

He went left next to the side of the orange Lilies~

That grew there wild if you must know~

I still watched that fox figure out where to go.

I saw a fox on the road~

He finally figured out~

How to get home.

I love foxes. They are beautiful and seem melancholy to me somehow. Thanks for the lovely pictures too.
