I Hit A Dog (limerick)

Updated on January 30, 2015

I hit a dog the other day

When in front of car it did stray

From car I got out

And hit dog on snout

In traffic I shouted don’t play

I have no doubt that it is the owner that deserves to be hit in the snout.

Oh poor doggy! I had to slow the other day cause a squirrel didn't know which way to go. I had the worst feeling, but then I saw it finally run to the right into a yard.
