Terrie is not formally trained as a writer. Her love of writing poetry and quotes have lead her back, to explore more of her creative side.

Run Through Lavender & Into The Sky

If I was a pink pony with purple polka dot heart.

I'd run like the wind, through the lavender fields.

Using stardust for sprinkles.

Where the sky shines and twinkles.

If I had a purple polka dot heart.

Now get on my back and play.

Let us have some fun today.

The man in the moon is waiting.

What are you contemplating?

My magic is soon fading.

If I was a pony with purple polka dot heart.

Feed me a sugar cube.

Riding through the night sky.

Up, up we fly.

Up so high.

If I was a pony with purple polka dot heart.

Stars would be my playground.

Where all dreams could be found.

Feed me a sugar cube.

Climb on my back, let's go.

Far over the rainbow.

Where only good dreams flow.

If I was a pony with purple polka dot heart.

Through lavender fields, I'd go.

Lots of Ponies to Colour & More

Finding these coloring pictures online inspired me to finish writing a poem. Is there something you haven't finished, you should? If you are looking for pages to color take a look here. Http://momjunction.com . It's great for all ages. Colouring for this article was done by my granddaughter. We had a great time and so will you. Colouring is also a great activity for traveling or quiet time. Even adults are getting into coloring. Pick up your pencils, crayons or felt pens and color on.

Writing and coloring is a great stress reliever and is now being recommended by Drs as a form of relaxation therapy. What better thing to color than my little pony.

Good work, Terrie! I really like the poem. I used to be a My Little Pony addict, but now I'm a few years older, I've forgotten most of what happened in the show. LOL...

Hi Terrie, glad you were inspired to finish this poem. It is fun and whimsical and all little girls would love it. The artwork,is nice too. I often find myself going through my old writing and reworking it or finishing it, then publishing it in hubs. I did that with the first poem I ever wrote in about 5th grade and was happy with the result. Good work.
