If More People Were Real

Updated on June 15, 2016

What Is Needed Is Here

Real People Expose Love

If More People Were Real,

There’d be more lovers around,

If more people were real,

More love would be found,

If more people were real,

There’d be less pain,

If more people were real,

More sunshine than rain,

If more people were real,

There’d be less sadness

If more people were real,

There’d be more gladness,

If more people were real

Less room for hurts

If more people were real

Lesser pants, more skirts

If more people were real,

We’d see truer smiles,

If more people were real,

Finding love takes lesser miles,

If more people were real,

More people'd be living,

If more people were real,

There’d be more giving,

If more people were real,

True love would come out,

If more people were real,

They’d be what love’s about.

Continued by Hubber HappyMikeWriter

If more people were real

We would not have to cry

If more people were real

There wouldn't be a need to try

To be better, to be cool

Life would be like a feather

Without people to fool.

To Be More Real

People should use their ability to think before reacting at all times. People should appreciate all things given to them. People should be patient in being able to go to and from. People should appreciate having a vehicle, obeying the rules of the road (never hurry to where you are going) and drive to the speed limits posted along their travel, being courteous to other drivers when they use their left and right signals to change lanes, make turns and etc.

Thank you Raine, for stopping by and commenting/complementing on this hub. I'm sure your poetry will be welcomed. This community is full of bi-racial make ups. You are not alone. I would be more than happy to read and comment on your material as well.

Very interesting and inspirational. It seems in our modern world people are conditioned to live past each other and not take the time to get to know the song of our soul. Love your work and insights. I have written some poetry dedicated to the spirit of bi-racial identity but not sure if it will be good enough to publish at the moment. Would love it if you can read it and comment.

I it is such a simple trait, being real, but often hidden. Great thoughts on this topic and so well written.

Hi Playdivadi, I'm glad you admire my poems. I try to write very meaningful poems and also music. Realism is what many people try to avoid but it is not avoidable. Sooner or later reality it must be met with. Thanks for stopping by and commenting :-)

When people are not real they are lacking knowing the purpose of life in which those people "Ouch" will cause hurt and chaos. I like the poem it has meaning.

Everyone has their own opinion (definition) of what REAL means here and everywhere else too. The point is that you have to determine what that definition is. Even once you do, it is likely that there will be many different definitions and some may not be as compatible with the others, etc.

It isn't an issue of my personal definition. I'm not one of those people who worries about whether or not other people are 'fake' or 'real.' People are who they are, and I have places to go and etc. No time to sit around worrying about whether somebody meets my criteria for 'real.' If they don't, so what? My time with most people is likely to be very short.

Sometimes I think people spend so much time worrying about whether other people meet their requirements/expectations that they have no time to enjoy life to any extent much less the extent that is possible.

Most people never see the big picture because they're too busy focusing on things they can't change, and things that are trivial both in the short and the long run. If you spend all your time trying to perfect every minuscule thing you encounter you won't get very far down the path.

Spend more time meeting your own definition of 'real' and less time worrying about whether or not other people meet it. None of us is qualified to judge another person's 'realness' until we ourselves have achieved the ideal 'real' -- whatever that is . . .

Ok Au fait, if your definition of more people to be 'real' is different or off course from where I was coming from then let's hear what it is. Perhaps, I'll attach it to this poem. Your opinion is greatly appreciated :-)

If people (especially someone you love) said the truth in the first place then there would be no more pain. If they will say the truth it's better to say it early. When you love a person deeply but that person has been lying to you and says the truth later than he should this is something that is so hard to get over with.

Sorry, if my comment gets a bit intense because I've experienced that before.

Beautiful work you have... thanks for your poem. I hope many more people will find comfort with your words. :)
