I'll Fly on Angel's Wings

Updated on May 22, 2017

Rain is falling down, like tears of the angels, without any sound,

Crying over all the lands, where all the atrocities have occurred.

We, all now to be heaven bound, sing a song, that's going round.

Each one knows, has no doubts, accepting fates, without a word.

Angels were meant to be our watchers, helping us all the while,

Some are as fierce as a lion, while most are so sweet and mild.

Without their presence, we would all be lost, surely lose our way,

Our Father in heaven, summons them, as we all kneel and pray.

The true founders of brilliant rainbows, the angels do abound,

If we desire to see our God's love, his colorful signature found.

Times of unrest, all trying our best, we seek a heavenly repose,

Angelic friends, their help each sends, bring a calm to our woes.

When it's a time for me to leave this place, and I do fly away,

Joining our savior in celestial heights, I'm welcoming that day.

I'll take my flight on an angel's wings, saying to all a farewell,

I've lived my life as best I could, saying my prayers without fail.

Thank you, John. All I can say is that if we all were not cared for a lot, we probably would not have lasted as long as we have. Many blessings my friend. whonu

A beautiful inspirational and uplifting poem, whonu. Heaven can't have too many angels.
