In Honor
Here On This Journey
Here on this journey
I carry a torch
for the many who are lost
and the few who keep this flame eternal
I carry the memories
of my brothers who exposed me, yet sheltered me
of my sisters who I could not keep from falling
and the children who played in the streets of chaos.......

Whose war?
Whose War, Whose War?
I'm here to fight Whose War?
in this land that I train for,
merely a man, nothing more.
Issue my ammo, my kevlar and flack
my weapon is ready so let's do the job, jack!
I have a home to defend while I'm fighting Whose War?
My wife, she waits yet
with our child I've not met.
She writes me of raising our brood
amidst all the wars our nation's acrued.
Corporate War, Drug War, Class War
Energy War, Gang War and so much more.
So good to know she is on my side
in Whose War? we too, are surely a force allied.
All of these wars are Whose War? to me
just another name of a war where I'll be....
