In Practise, Immoveable

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

Instilled in a loving heart,

is the will to free the tender aspirations of kindness,

and the ideals of a peaceful and fulfilling life.

Even amid the throws of contention,

and the oppressive manipulations of lesser thought,

the negative can in no way curb the intent of love.

The power of loves purpose, its pure and singular intention,

is beyond the base thoughts of malevolence,

so unrelated, there is no basis for habitation.

Yet love invites the darkness into light,

without qualm or hesitation,

so evil becomes a child of potential, and dissipates.

Choices are granted us in life,

and in potential of our capacity we choose a path,

to personify our soul’s will.

Often a choice of selfishness,

will dictate a harsh and painful life of conflict,

where love’s light seems distant and unattainable.

Yet the light exists within, always,

even in the darkest souls,

even within a sour and bitter vengeance.

In the silence of a soul’s self-pity and suffering,

there is always redemption,

always a path of change and restoration.

In practise, love furnishes reason and comfort,

and regret paves the way to understanding balance,

and the joy that life can offer.

In practise, love is immoveable.
