In Search Of Me Myself

Updated on August 5, 2015
Source

One thing often comes to my mind

Who am I?

Why I am here and for what and why

Very next moment I remember my name

But it has been given to me

I am known as my parents’ daughter

Sister of my brothers

That is all who I am

Still I am in search of my true identity

Parents, relatives, name and face all related to physical existence

But what about my soul

Who is it?

And one fine day I got the answer

I heard one voice which was coming from the depth of my heart

That was my inner voice

It told me that it is super soul

And I am one of its parts

All living beings are its parts

All are connected to it

All souls are sent to the earth with a purpose

All living beings are here with a mission

To serve one another and make each life worth

After listening to my inner voice

I became free from my all sorrows

All my confusions and doubts got cleared

I did find myself

After knowing that special bond with the super soul

A new meaning is added to my life

My perception towards life and people has been changed

I did search me myself

I rediscovered me my true self.

Awesome! Eventually, we all come to that point when we ponder 'why am I here and, who am I' that is the beginning of enlightenment because we are indeed here for a purpose; and finding that purpose gives our lives true meaning. Voted up and awesome.

I did not discover my 'true self' until virtually reaching old age. After a very fortunate upbringing things took a turn for the worse and it seemed whatever i did ended up a dismal failure. I came under the influence of a practicing witch (or wyche as we say in merrie England) and was made a 'neophyte' in training to be an 'adept'. I was wasting a lot of money on gypsy fortune tellers who gave me only superficial readings. I eventually got scammed to the tune of £2,000 and sought psychiatric treatment. After two weeks in psychiatric ward for assessment i was prescribed a course on valium which proved beneficial until my dosage was halved. Each period of my life has been a running away from reality. This commenced when i was physically molested by a school teacher at an early age, i still get weird visions when asleep but the daily routine for me is much more fulfilling.

I am a spiritual 'being' in a physical realm.

To meet the destiny i have yet to fulfill.

      I want for nothing.

      Who must i serve?

Each day i give praise and supplication to the 'supra divine' both morning and evening for the many blessings bestowed namely in the form of faith, hope and love and to desist from anger, greed and lust.
