In This Deep Serenity of Silence: An Offering to 'Dream On.'

Stillness … stillness … o my Sweetheart,

Your beauty intoxicates me;

I reel as in a drunken state.

I am in this vineyard of Lovers;

Taste only the wondrous sweetness of Thy wine.

My Heart is filled with kisses --

A Love so powerful, that I struggle for breath.

Yet a new kind of splendour dances within me.

I’m amazed and stupefied by its depth;

Swing on the lap of the moon in peerless bliss.

Sweet Majesty! Naked am I in Thy garden of Light,

A river of tears enrapt my joyful Spirit.

O Lantern, in this lapis lazuli tint of heaven,

Lies the vibrancy and serenity of Silence.

Manatita's quote

"She carved my name in Her Heart,

So I could feel it whispering, beating ...

I moved closer, ever so soulfully, prayerfully ...

Longing to merge and become One." -Manatita

      A name I'm familiar with. One is swiss German; the other American or Canadian.

      The seed of beauty is already embedded in the American consciousness. Spiritual practices helps tremendously in enlargening the Heart and enhancing the collective growth.

      If you can, read my recent prose piece on loving one's enemies. One of my significant pieces. So happy that you are a conscious seeker and that Puskara helps. We need this in the world right now ... in America ... todos!

      My teacher retired and moved away. So after a few years I realized my meditation practice needed a teacher again I have found a fine one in Pushkara Blue

      https://www.google.com/search?q=Sri+chinmoy+san+di...

      Your introduction to Chinmoy led me to him.

      I am happy for you, for the student; for Christ...

      Love and loving Hearts are always a victory to the Supreme... to humanity... to the elevation of human Consciousness... praise be!!

      Just a note here Manatita,

      I have just started and am so enjoying meditation with a fine student of Sri Chinmoy. We have a wonderful meeting place and the Sangha has excellent energy. I look forward to continuing.

      I love how you can always tell a message through your poetry. Its not just words rhyming but they either tell a story or they share a great message. Great work again my friend.

      I, for one, love silence. I, for one, love love. I, for one, love your words and I, for one, love Dream On! So how could I not love this conglomeration of words so beautifully connected?

      Ah, Jodah.

      So sweet ... so charming, this river ... aye. Thank you, Bro.

      Eric,

      Yes, Bro. A priceless gem of beauty.

      You're right about this silence and it is both a common and awkward one in life. Indeed, I almost used it in the poll, but I remembered that I am talking about mystical poetry. So it's a different kind of Silence here. Thank you so much!!

      Definitely worth reading 3 times at least. Thank you. I had never heard of the full name lapis lazuli, only Lapis.

      The silence question gave me a moment of edginess as I was reminded that in the past silence made me uncomfortable.

      Very beautiful poetry with some meaningful message. Your comparison of the heaven's color with that of Lapis Lazuli is very nice. Enjoyed the poem of Hafiz also. It is a nice dedication to our Dream On.
