In Your Darkest Hour of Fear and Uncertainty, God Has Your Back!
In your darkest hour of fear and uncertainty, God does have your best interest at heart. The above photo was captured from the 11th floor of an office building where I previously worked. It was one of the most painful and saddest periods of my life. As I yearned to be set free from this situation that seemed to hold me captive and absent of any apparent release and prospect for a new job, the answered lied vividly clear in the view from the window. The image in the sky appeared to depict a levitation of myself with God holding me up. Upon viewing this image, I was able to rest assured that no matter what I was going through, God was in control. This gave me strength and courage to endure this turbulent time right through to the end of my stay.
Well, today I am no longer employed with this company and remain unemployed today; but, let me share with you, I never felt more liberated in my life than the day my job ended there. It was my faith and God's grace that sustained me and set me free.
Now, for the past 2 and a half years, I have stil had to struggle financially and stay afloat in this era of harsh economic and social times; but, God has carried me, kept me and is bringing me through!
I know that many of you have experienced challenges you never imagined. Sometimes life can become so dark and dismal, you feel as if you have no where to turn and there doesn't seem to be any light in view. Don't worry!
If you know a God, whomever your God may be, hold on to His unchanging hand for He is always faithful. I encourage you, my sisters and brothers, to keep the faith and never cease to pray. Better days are ahead. If you get weary, rest, but don't give up. You must believe that God will continue to bless you and make a way for you. Please, don't give up on Him, nor yourself. He will never give up on you!
God has your back!
