So many fragrances this evening!.

Who can speak for the heart of a Lover in countless splendour?

I have finally found the road I need to travel,

And acquiesce to the salutations of the crescent moon.

I know now that Love is not to have, but simply be.

Not in struggle have I found fulfillment,

But in a transcendent peace from birth to birth.

I was once like trampled grass.

But my fibres, unyielding,

Gave shoots to the heart of infinity,

Serenading Your unspoken charm.

Now I only imbibe Your beauty,

Drink only from Your chalice of ecstasy supreme.

The Beauty of Love

I remember, even though you’re seated in my heart,

I once felt an endless loneliness.

You constantly slipped through my fingers,

And Love was not easily caught.

Morose and burdened by expectations,

I grew saddened day by day.

Now that I am alive in Your stillness,

What should I fear?

You have illumined my longing,

By the precious pull of Your Love.

Beloved, I salute eternity,

In order to comprehend Your wonders.

I know only that when We are together,

Time gets lost in our togetherness;

This is real.

Love and Longing

Is Longing Necessary?

See results

So let the gates of our unsung happiness,

Open In this forest of our dreams,

Glorifying the beauty of yon twinkling Stars;

The immersion of Your Cosmic Light.

Let my dimly lit inner candle,

Burn aglow with the fire of intense sweetness;

All things sing Your glory,

In this meadow of enthralling Love.

      I have no influence with publishers. My books are published through a Christian publisher, St. Paul Press, but I definitely have no influence. All of this is Very new to me. I am learning daily. In any event, I pray God's blessings on your efforts, and I know that you will be quite successful.

      I've liked you from the start Dee, since your keen observation and response, when I answered one of your questions. Frankly, we mostly respond according to our own capacities and consciousness, and so this is meaningful to me. In other words, you are also quite special.

      Most of my poems are actually addressing the Absolute. I 'cloak' them, else they could be too much for some here. Hence the need of a conversation between Lover and Beloved, or two people in a relationship. I offer an opportunity to raise the consciousness, the only way to heal the form.

      Reading the paragraphs you chose were profound. They read so deep that they surprise me. I have added appropriate meditational videos to some of them, and they are best read a.m, in morning prayer with the video. I do that myself, sometimes. Read some more. More recently I have done quite a few with this theme, but there are also others which are quite different.

      You may wish to let me know if you are influential with Publishers, as I hope to do a collection for a book soon. Much peace to you and yours this Sunday.

      Manatita,

      Of all of your poetry that I have read, this one…this VERY SPECIAL ONE is by far my favorite. It is the favorite because it speaks directly to the Source of all Love demonstrating how, even in our earthly flaws, He is there inside of us to move us to a knowledgable heavenly height.

      "I remember, even though you’re seated in my heart,I once felt an endless loneliness.You constantly slipped through my fingers, And Love was not easily caught….Now that I am alive in Your stillness, What should I fear?You have illumined my longing, By the precious pull of Your Love." This is such a blessed assurance. Even when we are sad, lonely with life's distractions and human expectations, God is ever present in us, yielding us to draw closer and closer to Him... to envelope His everlasting Love in that Divine Stillness that can, if we but yield to it, rid us of our frustrations. What a comfort. Thank you.

      Thanks Dee.

      I write mostly from experience, intuition and imagery. Still, as you know, I do have flaws. Pray for me. Still, much of what I write is very real to me, and also, God has gifted me the grace to write and to take in plenty from his Advocate whom you know.

      Love and blessings ...from above.

      Cute Ruby, isn't it? I like it too. Gratitude as always. Good night.

      The poet's mood in this one is no longer a longing; but a rejoicing at what he has found. A revelation? Beautiful anyway!
