India's Independence Day

Updated on August 30, 2014

We believe in birth and re-birth. Bhagavad Gita says for anybody whose birth is certain, death is also certain and the process vice - versa, continues just like water cycle. If it were so, the Indians who celebrate India's, the largest democracy's Independence Day are none other than those 'Freedom Fighters' who have reincarnated themselves as human beings again on the Indian soil.

On this auspicious Day we can never be oblivious to the great deeds done by Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and thousands of Patriotic Men and Women who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our Nation. To each and everyone of them we salute with reverence and gratefulness. It is the time for every individual to probe deep into our inner self and uphold the ideas of Rabindranath Tagore which will lead us to a world where spiritual freedom completely overpowers physical freedom. We expect our country to be converted into a place "Where The Mind Is Without Fear" .

We all pray to God, to keep our candles of Hopes and Wishes burning in heaven. Even a leaf cannot move without God's permission. Therefore, let us all be optimistic that the Oldest Democracy and the Largest Democracy will uphold the ideas of peace and tolerance and lead the whole world to a state of perfection, bringing Internationalism everywhere and overpower all the recent threats concerning terrorism and hatred.I
