Inevitability of Fear.
Inevitability of Pain.
The inevitably of pain heralds and motions cause and effect,
Stuns heaven’s naivety, engorges hell’s gross nexus with desire,
We plan to be ourselves at the bookends of life’s sickening roll call,
Though squander our grace on want’s grasping knuckles.
There was once a myth called give and take,
Gods and monsters of our base foundation,
Each are offered to Furies to counterbalance our slide,
Disappearing between here and there in the marsh of solipsism.
Stench of existence is entropy’s whore,
Tested against greed, the oubliette of the soul,
Lost on Butterfly wings of individuality,
As we cry no more, denied a skeleton of our identity.
Immolate our dignity in lava pits of Laissez Faire,
Our effigies parody the vigour of choice,
While we vent our spleen on ghostly shores of bullshit,
And mutilate our minds in an abattoir of imitation.
