Intelligent Attachment

Updated on November 30, 2010

What is wanted of a Lover...

Our body wants not love at all...

it asks for a thrill...

no outstanding bills...

a fit body, fun, putting on the dog

Our spirits often start obsession...

especially when in need of light...

are attracted today...

when they say that they care for our all...

The manner and way we feel...

It is somehow right in the night...

The intelligence within is much wiser...

hard to hear but it's true...

when in sync and disciplined....

Something new grows within....

A gift to ourselves, new

Unconditional love which is charity...

isn't received at all until given...

every now and again you get lucky...

you may find one who sees you as a puppy...

to train you how to do this thing too...

You find what you are not what you want...

If you don't care for others you cant love...

If you are afraid of being hurt...

Thats just part of the ride...

justice is returned to the hurt that hold on...

those who let go just taste dirt...

sometimes when you love you have to walk away...

Justice is love that way...

The one you love may go astray...

You care all the same hurting for loss...

when they return isn't important...

Charity requires that you feel all the while...

Masochists everyone of a style.

unicorn of the heart...

pure, white, and rare...

It cant be obtained by the impure...

impatience today will frighten it away...

In fine its a goal not a crime...

It seems now an odd line for me to stick in the middle of a discourse on love. I think it does have something to do with the subject but more as a restorative measure. I have noticed that those who hold on to the past cant seem to love. They can desire but nothing further.

I especially understand the line: "Justice is returned to the hurt that hold on..." So many people I know are groveling in misery instead of letting it go like water under a bridge. They wear it like a badge of honor, never letting an opportunity pass to inform others of how they have suffered.

I wish they knew how much more fun it is to go forward in search of happiness and genuine accomplishment!

Thanks, Jaggedfrost. As usual, you have said it so well.
