Interlude Of Breathtaking grace.

Updated on December 8, 2009

Interlude Of Breathtaking Grace.

She blossoms
over springs
pressing upward
though still embedded
under wintry

sheets of white.

So much
softer then a
dandelion puff
her image
gently caresses
my mind.

She waits
like a butterfly
emerged to
spread her wings
and grace me
with summer's warmth.

The space of
and hesitation
between us
vanishes rapidly
as her May eyes
beckon yes.

Yet I pause to savor
one of life's most
stellar revelations,
to bask in the
perfumed air
of promise,
in a moment frozen
but soon thawing
in the rapture
of her arms.
