A Dawn of Promise
A Dawn of Promise

i cannot live any longer

in the halfway

between two kingdoms

to live in the twilight zone

of eternal dusk

or the eternal dawn

hear the promise of the kingdom of light

cross over

to this

Your kingdom fully

look

look out and see

approaching dawn

perpetual dawn

i see light, i know it’s there….

and long for its to coming

i see enough of the darkness

to fear it

fear the dread of living

in the darkness

sit in self-made homes

turn on my temporal lights

to ward off the eternal darkness

never truly coming

to the full light of the

kingdom of God

why

afraid

to leave familiarity

the known

to cross the desert into the kingdom of light

no retreat

to go back to the darkness

an experience

a dawning of the light

YET

in the

perpetual dawning

it’s not all there is

there is a full rising of the light

if i would but go there

cross the desert

leave behind all i am

all i knew

all i could become

in the world of darkness

stand in the twilight darkness…

…look behind

see

the truth

the dense darkness

the night

is there desire to

go back

…live in the night

or

go forward

…live in the day

false temporal

man made lights

burn out

leaves the night

always the darkness

existence of fear

of lights going out

Jesus, You…are the Light

in Your kingdom

Your light

is perpetual

complete

the Light

of the Eternal Day

fully come

do i dare cross

Praise God...from whom came the purpose and directives of our salvation! Oh that the world would really truly see the future...

And you know coffeesnob, I just realized as well, that if we, the Church, truly saw the dark for what it is...we would be so much more grateful and faithful to our Lord and what a difference that would make to the world'

      thanks for stopping by

Have a most blessed dy in the Lord

Oh those words are so profound. I don't think we have a clue how dark that eternal darkness can be. But we see enough to efar it. And for those who have embraced the Light of Christ we have such a perfect love that casts out fear.

Oh yes, rls...pray for the Lost...pray for what God has so compassionately laid on your heart and let nothing stop you as the time is short and the flames are long. I grieve as well...oh how I grieve...but our grieving is not going to save these lost souls, only Christ can and He has invited us to pray for them...that is what will bring them to a place at the Fathers feet for forgiveness and salvation.

Blessings rls to you and yours

      Ulrike Grace:

I grieve for all those that are surrounded by darkness and know it not. What a horrible loss and trajedy. Should I not be praying for God to pour out His mercy and grace on this lost and dying world for it is only by His sovereign work of love than He can open the spiritual eyes of men to turn and seeing the true Light, The Lord Jesus Christ, may they flee to Him and be saved!

Hallelujah to Jesus Christ the Son of God!
