It all comes down to love......poem

Updated on March 28, 2014

She throws poisoned arrows as words
just to test his loves committal
He reels and casts his line just to know
if she can handle this recital

What ever happened to honesty
integrity and romance
just ask if she wants to go with you
then take her hand at the dance

What ever happened to romance without
the test
why does it all come down to
how we pass the test

And just what the hell does it mean when friend
says to friend "he is such a keeper "
I would think by now we
might try thinking a little deeper

It all comes down to love
or it doesn't.....
No games no tests ....it was love
or it wasn't

Sigh. . .whatever happened indeed. I despise games, especially the ones I don't want to play.
