It's Moving

Updated on May 9, 2012

It's Moving

A stranger is moving on the outside
There are no more walls
Only clouds in darkness
Looming overhead
I feel the calm touch of my short war condemned...

It's Moving

Some worthless thought stirs inside
A light flickers out
A candle in the darkness
The only clear way out of all this madness
What more could I have said...

The thunder from the rocks
It burns like you wouldn't know
Rambling aimlessly Southward in a daze of forgotten hopes
That Sinister feelings about again
The Sun won't shine in time to save this soul
To save this soul...

From Moving

From Moving the way the stranger came
I'm Moving
Moving away...

It's Moving

I hear lightning striking very close to my body
Strange days are upon me
Upon my body
I'm moving away
I'm gone to far from the astray
I'm moving onto other ways to stay
Another time, Another place...

Dear Poet, These days I find myself moving away and being moved away from so many things. I feel your strange days and looming clouds, but I hope for all of us the sun will shine in time.

Still waters run deep, even in one's soul, far too often we are moving away from our ordinary lives, even while we are still sitting in a recliner, clutching something remote.

A vast world whispers in everyone's ears, we are all flying dutchman marooned in Anytown U.S.A. longing for the highway, the my way, that trip we have yet to take. One can travel in their writing, it is my method of escape, I enter the long lines and move toward a satisfactory finish, but it is the journey of words that is the rush from the norm. Someday I will become a poem, written in long squiggles of black tread across the asphalt to my completion, I will seek what

my life has denied me, abandoning my faith in man to become a man of faith who chronicles what's really out there to discover. In some thatched hut on Easter island communing with the stone heads, or in the back room of a fish market in Cambodia, or right here on some unclimbed southwest mesa I will embrace the stranger and make it my friend.

      Superb write~~~MFB III

Thanx so much Dotty, this is very early in my years of writing. And maybe the first piece I actually caught the emotion and the mood I imagined. Pretty Groovy huh?
