It's Not That She Didn't Love You

Updated on April 24, 2010

Poem

It's not that she didn't love you,

It's just that she couldn't stay.

She saw the dawning of the morning sun,

and quickly ran away.

She kissed you with her love drinched lips,

As she covered you over with her glowing eyes.

She said, I love you,

But "Good bye"

I would stay here,

But life's more things to try.

It's not that she didn't love you,

Our milky way has died.

She said she loved what was shared

in a tempest way,

But still danced away, leaving her shadow

of all the good days gone by.

It's not that she didn't love you she screamed

as she fled.

Leaving you on your knees, with a

blistering plea,

Come back to me, oh please.

You are a Queen and of my dearly needs.

I promise! I promise! as you plea,

It's not that she didn't love you

she said as she exited the door.

"It's not that she didn't love you,

She spoke softly to thee.

You watched her stepping away, as the honey dripping

from her feet.

It's not that she didn't love you,

You still hear her whispers in the night.

You plea,Come back to me, Come back to me

I'll right ever wrong right.

It's not that she didn't love you,

you tell yourself through the night, hugging and

holding her pillow tight,

Tasting her sweetness of that honey comb,

Reaching for her silhouette and knowing that

she is gone.

It's not that she didn't love you,

It was just in time that she would embraced the calm

of the new day found.

"Tasting her sweetness of that honey-comb"

Very entertaining but if you've ever lost a love; its also very painful to read.

Guess that's what makes it such great therapy.

Two thumbs up. He says,as he drys his eyes.

But I'll be back, I like your style, and your smile.
