It's Your Move

Updated on October 10, 2016

Roaring Thunder

Each day we start

Just where we left off yesterday

Some call it an on going battle

I call it the most fascinating game ever created

So many different events can happen

Even though eighty five percent of the things that do happen are all routine

We have been here before

Done that already

You hear people complain their day is boring

It makes me wonder if many times during the week they feel and say the same thing

Does that mean their life is an endless pit

Of dull and uneventful

That makes me sad

I can see how people think life can be unbearable

One big rut after another

The good thing is that we spotted the early signs

Easy irritated and quick to lose your temper

If your one of those people

Let's see if we can make a few changes

So slight you won't even notice

Weeks from now

You will not only see a big change

But feel the difference

You can wake up alive and refreshed

Excited to see another day

Some how the light switch finally turned on

You have a sense of great purpose

You make a difference

Not just in your life but in the people all around you

It's in this moment

You know life is so much more than meets the eye

It is a world of different sounds

That play a different arrangement

Your job is not only to play

You have to conduct at the same time

No one has ever done this successfully

Until now

You make it look easy

When it is extremely difficult

I don't want to disturb you

So play your heart out

Make any changes as needed

Have fun and create

Like your favorite food that appeals to you many ways

Eat up life and enjoy

Shanmarie I love lightning and the pounding rain. My wife gets freaked out. I have a bubbling water fountain that sounds awesome. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Music is an excellent way to de-stress. It's lightning out here like crazy. If the rain and thunder get any closer, I could sleep for hours. Nothing severe, but maybe I am stillweird. I find thunderstorms to be relaxing too .

Shanmarie I get stressed just like everyone else. I do try to de s t r e s s and that takes time. I find little ways to stretch it out so it's not so overwhelming. I also turn on some country music and drift away into my good feelings and my thoughts are lining up when I am done. Then I am in a better frame of mind and continue you on.Nellieanna I have had many negative influences growing up that did a job on me.I use to think what if I had support instead and I turned to books and found an endless amount of thoughts to consider. Once they are practiced often enough they become routine. Thank you God for all the people in the world. Especially those who inspire and make life a snickers bar. Nice and chewy chocolate craving for my next bite and still room for a few nuts.

Good positive advice, to build on the positives rather than wallow in the negatives that one may encounter in normal living. I appreciate that it's not just words for you, and that it's your life's guideline.

I am rarely bored these days. I am, however, very restless tonight. And I can't focus on anything for very long. Too much going on in my mind tonight. Sometimes writing is an excellent outlet, but I can't even focus on that tonight. Not the first time for me to experience times like this and it won't be the last either. It's the ups and downs and lulls of the roller coaster of life.

Your positive approach to writing is like being with friends who make me smile the majority of the time. And when the time comes for sadness and tears, it's acknowledged so that the sun can shine again. Anger, frustrations, all of it is just part of life from time to time. I'd like to think people can see the positive in people who truly have hope and understand when they are down that it isn't who they are in whole. I see that in your work, too. You are aware of all the frustrations and react to them as people naturally do react, sometimes in ways that aren't our ideals but are what they are in the moment at least. But then you just try again to do it better. Because, really, what else can we do?

On the other hand, I do know some who are just negative people in general. It's a sad shame, especially when they begin to dim the lights of those around them. When that happens, the price is high and no one wins.

Gypsy Rose Lee I wonder if my day goes well how to duplicate it in such a way that more days may be a carbon copy. As easy as taking a piece of paper and making a photo copy. Then we can always make changes to make that situation and our feelings in life even better. We will not be settling for less we just don't need something bad to happen for us to grow. I like to think they are little growth spurts that teach us something new and move us into a place we have never been. The word boring has been eliminated from our vocabulary. I love when people show enthusiasm and passion in everything they do. I see you keep creating and welcoming new pleasures. Thank you for sharing your day with me. Michael-Milec I will always be amazed of all the beauty I see and feel in life. It is in the air and circulates simply by breathing. I do believe when two people get together the beauty intensifies and the friction creates events and emotions to happen so much faster. Life is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Thank you for all your comments and may they turn the darkest skies into beautiful colors of baby blue and a touch of pink. Maybe a royal blue with great bursts of white. There are endless beautiful skies to be seen just like there are endless amounts of beauty in life to be created and loved. Thank you for reading and caring.

So much enthusiasm on every side of your view on life. ( It is my move! otherwise I'll be left behind!) Though days ahead might be unpredictable, most of it is routine, we embrace changes, because we have been there before. Not because we are 'flexible' it's mainly because we are overcomers, making best of given situation... and enjoying life anyway.

Keep up with positive message Michael.

I always have fun when I create and with everything I have to do away from the PC I certainly never have a boring day.
