It's time/a poem

Updated on December 11, 2012

It's Time

It’s Time

It’s time to push forward past the pain, into the sunlight, beyond the rain.

Past the darkness and shadows that haunted our nights, past the sorrow and grief, that we couldn’t fight.

It’s time to stop asking, and wondering why, time for our hearts to tell you goodbye.

It’s time for reflection when we hear her name, a smile of hope, though our lives have been changed.

Although she is gone, she is never far, just one glance at the heavens with all of its stars.

We still miss you, but it’s time to go, we will see you again, this much I know.

thank you for reading tis poem I lost my mother in law back in july and getting through this first christmas without her is proving to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do,we use to do so much together this time of the year , and now I don't have that,so I have the struggle of going forward without her.I hope this poem will engourage people and let them know that there is still hope for those that believe.
