It’s Late (poem)

Updated on February 8, 2017

It‘s late and all our nightclubs slowly close

Throughout our day we put on quite a show

At last it seems has come the time to go

And will they miss us only heaven knows

Our dancing brought the day its special glow

Our kisses were the songs that they all chose

Our moves were left to dreamers to suppose

And will they miss us we will never know

For us it’s late as bright lights slowly dim

We had our trials but God it all was fun

A tear a kiss a toast and what a day

Let’s dance alone together while we’re prim

And spend this time of pleasure in our sun

And will they miss us yes perhaps they may

Music only
