Just Speak the Word! (Poem)

Updated on December 29, 2013

Declaring the Word

Helps you to remember

The awesomeness of God,

It informs you of your kingdom rights

When things are not up to par,

It seems so much easier

To speak the Word,

When everything is going well,

A bit more challenging

When you are going through

A trial, and nothing is going that swell,

Rise up and speak the Word!

No matter what the circumstance,

Rise up and speak the Word!

Are you sick and in need of a touch?

Assert that you are healed,

Tell infirmity what the

Word of God says,

With long life He promises you,

Confess that you are blessed, and

Shall live to declare God’s works

In all that you do,

Jehovah Rapha reigns over us, and

With His stripes we are healed,

When sickness relentlessly

Attempts to disturb you,

Rise up and speak the Word!

Do you have a need?

Lack has a way of taking us

Through open shame,

Speak the Word, and

To lack proclaim

My God supplies all my needs,

The cattle on a thousand hills

All belong to Him,

He is Jehovah-Jireh,

The Lord our provider!

Rise up and speak the Word!

Are you concerned,

About a loved one or a friend,

You’ve been praying would be saved?

The Word declares, that

God is not willing that

Any should perish, but

That all come into the knowledge

Of the truth and be saved,

Just speak the Word over that circumstance,

God has sent His Word, and

It will not return to Him void of

Accomplishing what He sent it to do,

Rise up and just speak the Word!

I don't know the word yet. I've tried many times to read, but I can't get past Genesis.

Good morning "PHILLYDREAMER" it is alright that you don't know the Word yet, we are all learning it truths, you can do all things through Christ Jesus, I am completely dependent upon the Holy Spirit for guidance and illumination. Come into the New Testament and start with the Gospels. I was saved through a tract and the verse that revolutionized my life is John 3:16. I had no idea God loved the world and sent His only begotten Son to save me from sin, and that all He required was my faith in Jesus Christ. You can and will get pass Genesis by the power of the Holy Spirit. You can do it because you are an overcome in this life.

Amen! When we are going through trials or illness, that is truly when we need the to speak the Word of God aloud. Even though I am on my own, I love to read the Word aloud! I hear the echo of the words in my ears, so that they can hear, and speak aloud so that my lips can form the words. It is different reading aloud....not better, just different. By the way....welcome to hub pages dear sister. You are a blessing and I know your audience will grow as The Lord will want His children to be reminded of the messages you bring. All the Glory to our Almighty God! Voted up, and awesome. Sharing with my hub followers
