Jealous Heart

Updated on January 7, 2012

Jealous heart

Jealous heart

foolish pride,

such similarity to a roller coaster ride.

Your jealousy drove a wedge between

my rational way of thinking

in addition, my healthy way of healing.

You are the reasons for insecurities,

The ruler of my heart

weaken the mind

a regimen of lies.

A trend so poisonous

it feed to the core,

before it can be free,

from all adversity of hell

that surround the heart

like a cripple cocoon.

Ruler of my heart

forbid love and sparks from entering

Blackness and hatred

prevails into hostility

leaving room for sadness and loneliness

Love would eventually vanish forever,

unless it's rebirth and activates links

to love and happiness.

however, love can withstand the test of time,

unlike jealousy who is as cruel as the grave,

a vague of empty feeling of dissatisfaction.

Seek redemption.

Jealous heart; a resentment; a feeling of hurt,

cannot see the passion,

only confusion.

nobody speak from the heart anymore,

only lies and betrayal

and a train of "Johnny one time

I cannot even say "I love you anymore,

knowing free love is player game,

It's lame, no moral , no respect, no rules

some men think of us as the new generation of fools

so, stop trying to convinced my jealous heart

the love and sparks have gone

replace with only darkness,

so all I can do is cry..............

"..a regimen of lies." The repetition of the certain words enforces their meaning. Heart, ruler, love. Thank you for sharing your art.

Jealousy is such a powerful and destructive feeling. Poison - like you said - in a relationship.

Hi jealousy will and can destroy in relationships. Now,

let me clarify, there is a difference in jealousy and common sense. We know if our significant other is doing

something or not, your heart just tells you that. Not all

old flames who contact you or your significant other, want to jump your bones. But, if they give you or him a massage for a gift, then there is time to be jealous or

worry. Trouble more then likely is on the horizon.

Good Luck. Great hub. Voted up.

      Sweet wishes Rhonda

Jealousy Is A Poison, Envy Is A Sin!- one of my titles. Jealousy doesn't help anything. It's just another footfall. God bless you DnL!

Such a tortuous treatise my dear 'lovely.

It is near impossible to solve the problems of another driven to jealousy. Their strength has to come from within. We can only counsel, not change someone else.

Only from a place of of our own strength can we allow our partners to be themselves and follow their hearts, hopefully not to our own pain, but we all must explore, every day, our own emotions and interests.

I like the line, "jealousy who is as cruel as the grave," for that is the key, a death knell, perhaps inevitably, for jealousy is distrust, and to share love one has to commit, without reservation, to trust...
