Jewel Box poem

Updated on February 27, 2013

Jewel Box a poem

Jewel Box poem

Jewel Box

So this is the day of remembrance

Where I have tucked your words in my memories

Into the small jewel box called my mind

I shall never lose words with you for all time.

How many times can a person endear another

To only find the words so very new

I love you was said in a thousand ways

Even his wings in the dark skies of blue

The flight in the night is never a good-bye

Just a whisper of I will be back soon by your side

So once, twice, three times a day

Remember the jewel box holding the words you say
