I always like to keep a travel journal; things I've seen, people I've talked to, local color, things like that. This is a very inspiring lens, and I think your journals for teens is a stroke of genius on your part. Sometimes they need somewhere to put their thoughts at a time in their life when the world seems at once sinister and then quickly joyous. Excellent lens.

I have a journal I use with my daily Bible reading times. It's a prayer/Bible/diary journal all mixed up. A little of everything is in there.

As much as I am online writing, nothing to me is as good as a journal. I have several that I kept in the Peace Corps, and one of my favorites is one I kept when I was starting my Photo Business...it is full of ideas, business tips, and how to open a gallery. All info that I have forgotten, but can go back and read. I think Journals are wonderful.....

Journals are cool, online or in book form. I think more people do them online today but that doesn't take away the coolness of a paper journal. Nice article.

I have kept a journal all my adult life. My journals help me clear my head when crud happens, help me identify goals and objectives, and quite often fuel my creative and problem-solving engines. I cannot imagine living without a journal.

Cool looking journals. I haven't used a journal in a long time, but I do use a day planner. They're a great help with jotting down any ideas you have through the day and making sure everything gets down. Great work with this lens!

I love journals and journaling -- and enjoyed seeing children's journals on this site, too! For sure, children need to learn this habit early - and not struggle in adulthood to do their journaling. Much easier that way! Lensrolling to Ten Year Journal.

I don't use a journal but would like to start. I mainly use legal pads and have them everywhere. A journal would be so much nicer. Thank you for the link love on your South Carolina Lighthouses lens.

I always plan on using a journal. I have started them many times over the years. When I go back and read them I am glad I wrote them. I just wish I could get disciplined enough to read in them every day.
