Journey To Our Mind

Updated on January 22, 2015

What Will We Discover ?

Something so brilliant

That each time we find new information

We are not only amazed but puzzled

How could we not of known

All these facts were in our head all this time

Teaching us even though we thought we were teaching it

So small

Hidden behind our hard skull

Unless we take an x-ray

See our brain in full form

I am proud to say

That mine is still working well

I can only pray for many years to come

So if you are like me and haven't studied it in school

Be glad it never had to overhauled and fine tuned

Because then I am way overdue

One day I will read all about our brain

Better yet I think I will just watch you tube videos

Just to get the gist of it

So if you know something about your own brain

Please share

I do know two facts

It is suppose to be the size of our fist

Albert Einstein is suppose to have been the smartest person that ever lived

He only used less than ten percent of his brain

So that leaves us lots of room for improvement

Congratulations to all those who know how to retrieve memories from long ago

I am so happy to remember what happened an hour ago

Gypsy Rose Lee I think I could use some of your tips. I am always looking to connect the dots. My life looks more like a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle with fifty pieces missing. Oh well I have so much fun anyway. Thanks so much for commenting.

lol with me it takes awhile for all the dots to fall into place. However I always train my brain by forcing myself to remember things from the past and it seems to be working. I only check things out on the Internet if I really can't remember something. I figure as long as I keep my brain working it'll be alright.

CatherineGiordano I am glad we all have been so blessed. What if only every other person got a brain ? That would be awful. Thank you for reading and caring. Have a good night.

Neuroscience is discovering new things about the brain all the time. Your poem got me thinking about what a wondrous organ the brain is.

Jodah We can team up and moving forward we will have the past covered and each day remembered. I appreciate your comment even more now than ever. The brain is so powerful yet so mysterious. I often wonder where all the things I have seen and experienced go. I am glad I don't have to organize all that information. When I have trouble writing and fixing just one hub. Thank you for all your support and enjoyable comments.

Interesting hub about that amazing organ we call a brain, Dream On. I can remember things that happened in early childhood yet I have trouble remembering what I had for dinner last night...oh well. I did remember to read this hub and comment so that's not so bad.
